Scams

Scams are business deals designed to draw you in, then rip you off. Consider the one here at the left!

Everybody would love to make that kind of money and work that little, but c’mon, is it really possible? If something sounds ridiculous, then it usually is.

Here is a list of potential scams to know about and avoid, completely.
Receiving a bill for items you never purchased. Throw the bill away.
Receiving a notice for a winning lottery ticket you never bought. Throw that away, too.
Psychics claiming you could come into a fortune by sending money to a post office box. Ignore the claim.
Work-from-home scams usually require that you send a company a fee for information on how to build a business from home. These scams promise high incomes for easy work, such as stuffing envelopes, making phone calls, or typing. Don’t get caught up in a work-from-home deal unless you are working with a trusted adult.
Email scams, where you are asked to submit personal information such as your social security number, credit card information, or mother’s maiden name are completely phony. Never provide your personal information to someone ;you don't know, unless you are dealing with a business you trust, such as your bank.
