• Think of the money you want to save as a bill you owe to yourself. Pay yourself first!
• If you get an allowance, pay yourself first by putting part of the money into your savings account at the bank.
• If you have a part-time job, ask your employer if you can have some money taken out of your paycheck and automatically deposited into your savings account. That way, you'll never miss it!
• Or, take your paycheck to the bank and put part of it into savings right away. Keep the rest out for spending.
